The Laurens Rotary Club's annual duck race was again a part of the city's "Squealing on the Square" barbecue festival on October 4 & 5, 2013. The race of "rubber duckies" took place on Saturday and netted $4,255. Five dollar tickets bought numbered plastic ducks which were launched down Little River to a finish line in the city park. In the photo, Rotarian CHRIS BENSON with a helper prepares to dunk the ducks to start the race.
